The Bioscientifica Trust Sends Anais Kahve to Germany

September 1, 2017

Congratulations to PhD student Anais Kahve who received a £795 grant from The Bioscientifica Trust to attend the 14th WiTec Confocal Raman Imaging Symposium. The grant covers her travel and accommodation which we are very grateful for. The symposium is scheduled to take place in Ulm, Germany in September 2017. Anais will present her work titled “Use of Raman spectroscopy to study lipid deposition in cultured beta cells upon exposure to fatty acids”. Attending the symposium will allow Anais to present her findings to leading experts in the field and to learn from their expertise as she develops her research.
